WE FINALLY GOT OUR BUILDING PERMIT!!!! I'm so excited but Matt says to save the celebrating for when permit is actually in our hands ; ) I'm going to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.
We made quite a bit of progress on small projects this weekend. With some much appreciated help from Herb and Dottie, we got the fireplace torn out, patched the walls, and fixed the garage door. I'll post more pics soon.

CONGRATS Matt and Kelly, It was a long time in coming but let the fun begin NOW !!!! Herb mentioned that you already ordered the windows. Great.... I too have been busy picking up permits.. so they can dig up the street to hook us to the main sewer so the building project can start... Oh the trees we kill for all this construction. excellent! That is good news to a long awaited pill-o-paperwork. Sounds like you guys are moving along and that you bought a nice vehicle to hall the kids around in. Congrats on that as well. Brooke and I have been extrememly busy but we are hoping things will calm down so we can come down and see you guys!
